Title

A friend of mine might try to make a MMA club at school to do training on lunch. If he does end up making, I might join in. Epic Games does this thing where they give out free games every week, and a lot of the games they give out are actually pretty good. I got subnautica, slime rancher and moon lighter from that, and they're all good games. Next week, it'll be For Honor, so I can maybe get my friends to start playing it. I think I was spoiled on the book I'm currently reading in english like ages ago. I think I saw a cartoon based on that book's ending, and that image just popped up when I was reading the book.

There was an UTS lecture about something at lunch, and I would've gone if it had anything to do with UTS. They talked about stress management and whatever, so I didn't bother to go. My english teacher wasn't here today, so I still haven't got my marks back yet. I think I have english tomorrow so I should receive it tomorrow. SDD and IPT course's names are being changed to business computing(?) and software engineering. Apparently no one in the school actually knew what IPT or SDD meant.

Received my Japanese results. Like the last test's results, I got 28/30, which is 93.3%. I got 20/20 for the reading, and got 8/10 for the speaking. The speaking was a little difficult, but I think I did well. My SDD teacher had to be in hospital for the second week of the holidays, so he didn't get to finish the marking. He was apparently on liquid diet for 2 days to get surgery done for something. I might leave minecraft open overnight to grind out the auto farms. I'll get a lot of resources, so it might be worth.

I didn't even get the English, SDD or Japanese marks back. Didn't have SDD today, the english markers haven't talked to one another so they don't know if they've fully marked everything, and someone hasn't taken the Japanese test so I couldn't get my marks back. As soon as the holidays end and school starts, my friends want to start playing Overwatch again. I don't know why we didn't play during the holidays, but if they're playing I guess I'm playing. I might actually get a nintendo switch sometime. it's like $300 for all the stuff without the games, which is the switch, the dock for screens and the controller as well.

Apparently a friend wants to use nord VPN to watch shows on netflix. He was gonna share it with people so the cost is less, but it's like $5 a month, but you have to pay for 3 years, so it's like $180 up front. Probably not gonna happen. Going back to school tomorrow. Don't know which week it starts with, but I have english on both tuesdays so I'll get my marks back for that. If I'm lucky I'll also get my SDD marks back on the same day. Other than that nothing else to look forward to. Found an old artist called Frank Sinatra. I found him through 9gag, but I actually quite like his music, even though it's quite old.

In osu there are 4 game modes. There's the traditional circles coming on the screen that you tap, there's taiko, which is a drum kind of thing where the circles approach and you press buttons at the right time, there's mania, which is a piano where then notes come to you and then there's fruit, where you catch falling fruit. Traditional is really all I can play, but I might try to play taiko, because most music games on PC are either mania or taiko. One more week of the holidays left, and I'm dreading the fact that I have to start waking up early next week. Kind of looking forward to getting some of my assessment marks though. I think I'll just look for a streaming website to watch civil war. I know some old ones like putlocker and 123movies, but I'm not sure if they are still safe to use, so I'll do some digging for good ones.

The lag on the minecraft server has gotten so bad that it's actually painful to play. I think the problem is that the world just became way too big, or the Mojang servers are super bad. It was the same type of lag I had when I spawned in a bunch of entities, so we did go around killing any useless mobs, but it didn't help either, so we just kinda stopped playing. I've been playing more For Honor, and I think for now I want to make my characters look alright, but to start getting good looking gear, I have to wait till prestige 3, which means get to level 20 3 times. It'll take a while, especially when the queue times are super long. Having the second monitor high resolution makes the first monitor's fps drop, but if I drop the resolution the second monitor the text and everything looks super blurry, so I don't think it's worth. When I get an upgraded graphics card, I'll just stick it in separate graphics cards.

Planning to do training tomorrow from 1 to 3. I finally get to use my boxing gloves that I bought around 3 months ago. I tried updating my graphics card drivers, but something screwed up so I just went to bed, and when I booted up the computer today, the computer asked me to restart to fully install the drivers. I don't why it didn't do that when I just shutdown last night and booted it up in the morning. There's another windows update that's asking me to restart, and knowing windows, it's gonna force it later, so I guess I'll just install it now.

I spent like 4 hours of my day making an auto creeper farm for gunpowder. I probably could've done something much more productive, but it is what it is. Season 3 of Stranger Things is out, so I'll probably watch that soon enough. There's also a lot of shows that I should watch on netflix, like Hitman's bodyguard, umbrella academy and the marvel TV series. Apparently the internet is organising something stupid like storming the Area 51 base in america. Their argument is that "They can't stop all of us" and that they'll just run in there. I think most of them are just joking anyway, but there are probably stupid enough people to try it.

Used parsec to play jackbox party pack with a lot of my friends yesterday. While it is super laggy, it doesn't really matter if you're playing a turn based game, so it's fine. I watched winter soldier yesterday, so now I need to watch civil war, but I don;t have a copy and Netflix doesn't have it either. I think one of my friends has a copy, but it's too big to send over internet, so I'll probably have to get it in person. I think I'll try to book the driver's test some time soon, and finally get my L's. It's probably best if I have it before I get busy, I guess.

Tried playing a game called Slay The Spire, which is a rogue-like deck building dungeon crawler. I played one game, and I cross-killed the first boss, which doesn't help for rogue-like games. Since it's a card game, you  have to make good choices of cards by looking at synergies with other cards and how much value the card has. Synergy is how that card works with your other cards, and value is how much value you're getting from that card. There's this app called parsec and allows you to play local multiplayer games online. I think it works by connecting to computers, but I'm not too sure. I didn't install it before because it was super slow and laggy, but apparently they fixed it. I might try Arma 3, which is an old military type game. I'm watching some gameplay of it, and it looks pretty hard and realistic. It's not a single player military game, but a multiplayer game, so it's all handled by actual players.

First day of the holidays. I forgot to turn off my alarms, so I turned it off at around 7:40, but the next time I woke up was 11:30. I'll try to wake up a little earlier. Since I have nothing to do for most of my day now, I'll probably start watching and catching up on movies I haven't watched. I'll probably start with winter soldier, because I got it from a friend and it's just sitting on my laptop. Then the other marvel movies like ant man and the wasp, and Captain Marvel. I realize now that having my second monitor be 1920*1080 is drastically dropping my fps on my main monitor, but if I lower it the screen is just annoying to look at, so I'll probably just keep it anyway.

Since it's the last day of the term, so no real work is getting done. Started watching Howl's moving castle in Japanese, and it's the first time watching it with any idea of what's going on. Maybe i'll watch, probably I won't. Training on sunday might be off, because the "coach" can't make it since he has cousins coming over. That means I'm free on sunday I guess. The movies times for the spiderman movie is kind of late, around 3. We had to do it a little later because one of our friends had something on earlier on the day.

All of my assignments are now done, and tomorrow is the last day of this term. I can finally start sleeping in a little. Had some trouble with getting the minecraft server back up, but it is back up now. Mojang's server for downloading and uploading worlds is really bad. Going to be busy this weekend. I've got to get a haircut, watch spiderman, and go back to training for the first time in a few months.

Planning to get the minecraft server back up by today or tomorrow. We didn't have enough people pay until now so we didn't have it up before. Optifine is out for it as well, so we have nice shaders. All assignments are done except for SD now. All I have to do is do the documentation for SD and that's term 2 finished. Netflix released some sneak peeks at the new Witcher series, and some of the character don't really look true to the real story, but it's set before the game Witcher 3, so I don't really know if it's accurate.

I was gonna hand in my English vlog at 3 minutes 40, but I found a way to fit in another paragraph and stretch it to 4 minutes. I have my Japanese test tomorrow, so I'll revise a little for that, and also my grading is tomorrow as well. Just have the documentation for the SD assignment, but the documentation is actually quite hard. there's a lot of diagrams that I need to draw up.
