League of Legends -ranked
Season 2019 just started for league, and I'm still at silver 2. I usually just don't play ranked, because I play like ass in ranked. In normal games I just play as usual and actually do well, but when I play ranked, I get all nervous, hands get sweaty, heart rate spikes. It's probably because there's just more pressure, because losing and winning matter more than usual, and League is a game that really punishes any mistakes.
For example, dying once to your opponent will put your opponent ahead of you, and it'll be hard for you to catch up, and if you die again it will get even harder. So there's a lot of pressure early on, and I don't really like that. In normal games I can just not care if I lose or not but in ranked I have a rank to lose and everything, and since it's ranked people start to try and be better, so it's harder than normal games.
I think one of the ways to get this nervousness out of the way is to just keep playing ranked until it doesn't matter anymore. Until I either get used to playing ranked or just give up on my rank and play. There's also the reason that I don't want to queue with my friends in ranked, because I don't want to get carried to a rank, but if I solo queue I get discouraged to play, so there's not many times that I actually want to play ranked.
The third problem is that I don't main anyone, meaning I am not good at this one person. I'm mostly a fill player, meaning I fill in for the role that the team needs, and I usually bounce from one character to another. While this means the number of characters I can play are wide, I'm not particularly good at any of them. So, to fix that, I've been playing a lot of one character recently.
