Starting the blog
This blog is a place for me to write down my thoughts and opinions for the purpose of practicing English and keeping a record of myself.
There are multiple reasons why a blog was chosen instead of something like a diary. First, Having a public blog such as Blogger is a decent way to receive feedback about how I am writing and about the subject of the blog. Second, having a record of such thoughts and opinions as an aspiring IT engineer is valuable. Third, it is easier and faster to type than write.
There are certain conditions for me to write this blog. If in term 1 of school, I get an 85% or higher in the English test, I don't have to continue writing this blog. However, if I get under 85% in the term 2 test or get under an A (for English) in the semester report, I have to continue writing on this blog indefinitely. It goes without saying, that if I get higher than 85% in the term 2 test and get an A in the school report, I do not have to continue writing on this blog.
Of course, I do not wish to write these blogs, but I do understand that writing almost daily (5 times a week) blogs such as this is a great way to improve my English marks in school. Studying mathematics and writing a blog almost everyday with the senior schoolwork that I soon will be entering may be a little annoying and bothersome, but I do understand that doing such studying will definitely not be a waste of time and will help in the near and far future.

Well begun is half done.
